Nearly a Third of US Youth Have Prediabetes or Diabetes

Nearly 1 in 3 US adolescents have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, with abdominal adiposity being the strongest independent predictor, analysis of national survey data from 2021 to 2023 shows.
